The role of the studio manager at Rhea + Kaiser is similar to that of an air traffic controller. Both are responsible for handling multiple tasks at one time. Both work under strict deadlines. But while the daily life of an air traffic controller consists of landing airplane after airplane, the studio manager is not afforded such a consistent luxury. While not exactly “pushing tin,” the studio manager may guide a 24-page glossy brochure through the studio one minute, and a promotional Whoopee Cushion the next. Welcome to Todd Mueller’s world. Todd’s responsibilities as R+K’s studio manager include the scheduling and tracking of all creative jobs within our studio, while maintaining internal computer graphics management systems.
