Part visionary, part mentor and part terminator — Patsy Comella has been the head of the R+K media department since 1978, overseeing the media activity for all of Rhea + Kaiser’s B2C, agricultural and B2B accounts. Patsy has extensive experience in developing niche-market and mass-market media plans and personally directs and develops strategically targeted media campaigns for Bayer CropScience and its full range of products. Patsy’s uncanny ability to turn media projections into definitive results has played a huge part in the agency’s success. Under her leadership, the R+K media team has earned a national reputation for planning, targeting and negotiating. Patsy serves on the Farm Publications Media Advisory Board for the Audit Bureau of Circulations, and is often called on for her opinions on media issues for AgriMarketing magazine. Patsy holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Ohio University.
