As controller, Kathy Sedlacek manages the accounting department, guiding Rhea + Kaiser on the path of continued financial strength and growth. Kathy’s ability to navigate the ever-changing world of tax law and accounting procedures has earned her the praise of management and clients alike. Kathy joined R+K in 1988 as staff accountant and earned subsequent responsibilities as accounting manager and senior accounting manager before assuming her role as controller in 2007. Prior to joining R+K, Kathy served as bookkeeper for Casa Lupita restaurant in Clearwater Fla., and accounting manager at George Williams College in Downers Grove, Ill. Kathy earned a B.A. in business, major accounting, from Governors State University in University Park, Ill.
