As group account director, Jeff Walter leads the team servicing the Bayer CropScience account. In that role, Jeff oversees communications strategy and ensures that R+K programs align with Bayer business objectives. A 10-year veteran of both R+K and the Bayer account, Jeff most recently served as management supervisor leading the nonselective herbicides, cottonseed, fungicides, and corn and soybean portfolio businesses. Jeff’s accomplishments as a management supervisor on the Bayer account include launching LibertyLink soybeans as well as Balance Flexx and Ignite herbicides. Jeff brings tremendous energy and enthusiasm to his position, in addition to a unique insight into the agriculture industry gained from personal experience growing up on his 2,500-acre family farm in DeKalb, Ill. Jeff joined R+K in 2000 as account coordinator and was promoted to account supervisor in 2005, to management supervisor in 2007 and to his current position in June 2010. Jeff is a 1999 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications.
