As a native Southerner, Elizabeth Smith is as firmly rooted in the soil of Alabama as the crops that grow there. In her role as an R+K senior account supervisor, Elizabeth brings a unique insight to her public relations projects for Bayer CropScience’s portfolio of southern row crops products. She also brings with her more than 15 years of editorial and public relations experience.
Prior to joining R+K, Elizabeth managed external public relations for the University of Alabama’s media relations department. She has also managed broadcast communications for the National Cotton Council of America and has served as editor for Cotton Farming magazine.
Elizabeth attended the Université Jean Monnet in St. Etienne, France, and holds a B.A. in journalism and French, with a minor in business, from the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
